I seriously needed to update the cushion covers on the lounge in our family room, so I went scrappy with bits and pieces in my stash. I'm not sure what I think of them, but they are bright and happy, so they'll do for the moment.

I was more impressed by the way the little piece of applique which I've had in a box for years and years came up as a cushion. I had a maroon piece just the right colour for the back, so on it went. I think it's beautiful. I wish I could do it.
