Hot cross buns

Today I made hot cross buns for the first time ever to celebrate Good Friday tomorrow.

The regular ones were from this recipe at www.taste.com.au.

You can see the gap where I took one out to test it. Yummy.

Then I made some gluten/dairy free ones from a recipe on this site. Fresh, they were delicious. Not so sure how they'll go overnight, but that's gluten free cooking for you.
