Thinking. Four ways

This is a blatant pinch from my friend Ken who works as a counsellor amongst particularly hard-up people. He posted it at my request on Facebook and said it was courtesy of Russ Harris. So obviously he pinched it too. Anyway, thanks Russ, whoever you are. Here it is.

Four approaches to any problem situation

1. Leave

2. Stay and Change what can be changed and live by your values

3. Stay and Accept what can’t be changed and live by your values

4. Stay and Give up and increase your suffering through self-defeating behaviours
