Sibling love

Bright Eyes has a very special relationship with his big sister. My husband and I call her the 'Bright Eyes-whisperer' because she knows exactly what to do to calm him down when he's anxious or make him happy when he's sad. 

They are almost exactly four years apart - they were both due on the same date in August and from the day he was born she has been his guardian and comforter. 

She's a godsend to me as well. On the days when I'm too tired or too stressed to be as centred and as calm as I would like, she will often step in and be a friend to him. I'm very thankful for her!
