Autism. imagination cakes

In our playtime this morning, Bright Eyes and I thought up ways to make disgusting cakes.

"I would make a cake out of.... mud," I started.

"A cake out of sand!" he said.

"Yuck!" I grimaced. He giggled.

"A cake out of sand and flies," he added.

"With icing made from seaweed," I said.

"What about a cake made from yucky plants?" he tried.

"Ewgh," I said. "Or icing made from carpet."

This is getting back to our objective of creating an imaginative game with no reference to anything we can see. We made this up out of our heads and both took it further and participated. I think he's coming along with this stuff.
